Ritchey is on tour right now I hope you are in a town to which she comes so you have the chance to see her She will be playing in Portland this Sunday, Aug 7th, at ye olde Artistery on y’olde 3769 SE Milwaukie St., at the pleasing 7pm, out back in the curious Geodesic Dome w/ Kallikak family and White Rainbow…
MANTAR is her solo project, a much awaited debut, after a year or so off from her work in projects such as: Badger King, Dear Nora, Wolf Colonel, and so forth. The CD is called Classic Battles and comes with a rad insert designed by Rebecca Carlisle-Healy, who also designed the handsome arigato pak. It’s available in the shop and there’s a listenable sample to boot. Love Carlos.
PS. Nice show last night! Steve headbanged himself like no other night before!

PPS. Steve! This scientific crime lab zoom technology reveals the true perpetrator of the heinous neck soreness: It was the man in the back with eyebeams!

Steve Schroeder writes:

are we to be on the lookout for this wooly chin-strapped lad. I do believe he was spotted in Astoria, fabricating faux Fifty Dolla Bill.
